Development of Chess In Rural Area of Maharashtra
The Ahmednagar District Chess Circle co-operated with D.L.B. Bahuuddeshiya Vikas Pratishtan (Regd) affiliated to M.C.A. and carried with inspiration of Late D. L. Bapat. The Ahmednagar District Chess Circle and D.L.B. trust are well known as most popular and promoting organizations for Chess in Ahmednagar district which has got kind support from players, parents, coaches and Taluka Federations. The Ahmednagar District Chess Circle and D.L.B. trust has commitment towards promotion of game and motivating players and developing new players, who may be representative of country in international chess games. Since past few years, the Ahmednagar District Chess Circle has followed its promise and organized many events that are participated by well known and well rated chess players.
Ahmednagar District Chess Circle and D.L.B. trust invites international masters, grand masters and rated players to coach players in Ahmednagar District. We are taking two rating tournaments in a year, first in a month of April and second in Diwali holidays. Ahmednagar District Chess Circle and D.L.B. trust presents attractive cash prizes, mementos, trophies and certificates to winners and sub winners. Ahmednagar District Chess Circle and D.L.B. trust also takes initiative in C.M.C.A. and M.C.A. events. ADCC is currently working with few Talukas in Ahmednagar district Pathardi, Sangamner, Rahuri, Kopargaon, Shrirampur. ADDC also organizes Chess In School program to promote and guide students. We welcomes sponsors and donors to promote chess in root level of Ahmednagar District.
